Lesson Four: Lead Generation System

If you're new you won't have anyone to sell to yet either, but one of the first things you want to be ready for is when you start driving traffic: you want to give interested visitors the change to let you know they are interested. Usually a form of some kind will do the trick whether it's a newsletter signup form, a pop-up form, a coupon, a contest, an email, a referral, a contact form, or even an email sent to you - you want to capture all of that. And also: Ask. Simply asking your new lead where they heard about you is a very straight-forward question and if your CRM doesn't have a field for "Lead Source" - you're doing it wrong. That data could help you in many ways.
